After going through the awesome fun of weekly laundry, I happened to pull out from the bottom of the pile an old shirt I had bought when visiting Tokyo a few years back. I had instantly fell in love with its clinical design approach after having stumbled into the shop Graniph while perusing the busy streets. They produce their own garments with the help of fellow designers such as myself similar in fashion to Threadless but with much less public control. To be fair though the output I have seen from them is stunning and could sell quite well I imagine within the design crowd. It would be stupid to think that such a place as Brighton, UK could not sell these things like hotcakes. Below is a selection (I call it that but it was too damn hard to choose only a few as I love them all) of what Graniph has to offer. Funny enough, now that I work at Addict Clothing I find out that Swifty (who Addict collabs with for shirt designs) does some rad submissions of his own for Graniph, go figure. Others include the rare Onra and Ricky Powell collabs also, gorgeous… Hope y’all enjoy and I’d like to hear what people think :-)

Outdoor_Jackets

Yum. That’s the only way I can describe these delicious designs by two innovative outdoor specialists. I was lucky enough to snatch a paclight Gortex waterproof by Arc’teryx and a softshell from Haglofs and I could not praise them both more. It is astounding the difference in quality, fit, breathability and length of life you receive with such products. I commute daily by bike or foot rain or rain (UK) and these both just work. I would like to point out that there are numerous companies out there that provide similar products but the attention to detail, sleek construction and modern colour schemes allow them to be worn in any occasion. I can’t help give a nod to whoever was responsible for the re-design of the Arc’teryx website either which helps bring the brand into the 2.0 era.

Sixpack France

Last but not least is the stupendously fresh label from France that I guarantee to have at least five shirts that you will drool over. Started in 1998, Sixpack France hit the ground running hard. With artists from all over the globe providing the luscious array of artwork, I put them ahead of most if not all other current collaborative clothing storefronts and feel positive when I say they only going to rise. Be sure to check back for recent updates or you might miss out on specific prints.
